On your mark…get set…RACE!

ASA is an After School Adventure program, serving students in the Bellingham School District (K-fifth grades), during non-school hours. ASA is located in a beautiful camp setting at The Firs, east of Bellingham on Cable Street (off of Lakeway Drive).

Each year, the ASA program centers around a major theme, creating a backdrop of fun and adventure, making a child’s experience new and exciting EVERY DAY!

ASA is excited to announce that we will be spending the 2014-2015 school year on an “Amazing Race” around the world! Kids will have a blast as they travel to different cities, states, countries, and continents, learning about things like the circus, food, dance, and even the Olympics! Each month, we will begin a new adventure as we discover how some of our favorite things are experienced around the globe.

While we take part in the fun, we will also learn about past race contestants. In our JAM time, this year, we will take a look at some “Heroes of the Faith,” who competed in the ultimate “amazing race,” as discussed in Hebrews 11. Pulling inspiration from them on how to run the race and finish strong, we will certainly have a school year full of new and unique experiences and challenges! We look forward to running this race with you and all the memories we will surely make along the way!
