“Play is the Serious Work of Heaven.”  -C.S. Lewis

ASA (After School Adventure) is a program of The Firs, serving Kindergarten through fifth grade students in the Bellingham and Meridian School Districts, during non-school hours; before school, after school, on early release days, teacher work days, some holidays and school vacations.

ASA offers programming from two sites. The main site provides care for most of the Bellingham School District and is located in a beautiful camp setting at The Firs, east of Bellingham on Cable Street (off of Lakeway Drive).  The second site serves Cordata Elementary and Irene Reither Elementary and is located at 400 Meadowbrook Ct., at Birchwood Presbyterian Church. Both sites offer unique facilities, giving students the maximum opportunity for fun and adventure!

Each year, the ASA program centers around a major theme, creating a backdrop of fun and adventure, making a child’s PLAY experiences new and exciting EVERY DAY!
