Spring Break Day Camp

SBC flyer 2017

Expect the unexpected, the right-side-up & up-side-down, around every corner you go around!

Campers in kindergarten through 5th grade are invited to join us for a Seuss-inspired week of fun! There will be a lot of games and activities planned and even a couple of adventurous field trips! Each day, campers will explore the world of Dr. Seuss with their adventure guides, make new friends, and have a ton of fun!

COST:  $155 (includes a t-shirt) per child.

TO REGISTER:  click here to download the form, and return to Kim at kim@thefirs.org (or to the mailing address, below) or call 360-733-6840.

SCHEDULE:

Monday:

Kick off the camp week with fun, games, and lots of Seuss-inspired adventures. Kids will get to know their “book group” for the week, they will travel to Whoville and back, and will see if they can find where “The Cat in the Hat” is hiding!

Tuesday:

While our K-2nd graders enjoy games at camp, our 3rd-5th graders will get to take a dip in Bellingham’s own “McElligot’s Pool” as we head to the Arne Hanna Aquatic Center for an afternoon swim! Kids will need to bring swimsuits and a towel.

Wednesday:

While our 3rd-5th graders enjoy games at camp, our K-2nd graders will get to take a dip in Bellingham’s own “McElligot’s Pool” as we head to the Arne Hanna Aquatic Center for an afternoon swim! Kids will need to bring swimsuits and a towel.

Thursday:

We’ll load up the vans and head north for a field trip to the Vancouver Zoo! There are sure to be many Seuss-like creatures to meet and learn about on this out-of-this-world (well, the country, anyway!) adventure!

Friday:

As our week of Seuss-O-Rama fun draws to a close, kids will get to enjoy one last day of games and excitement. The day’s activities will include a massive Whoville-style game in the woods, a “Cat in the Hat”-inspired carnival, and more!
